Thanks for taking the time to "meet" me. To begin, I am a native of Birmingham, AL, where I was raised by my great parents, Guy and Sharon. In 2003, one year after graduating from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), I moved to Tyler, TX, to work full-time at Pine Cove Christian Camps. In addition to being a place of tremendous spiritual growth, Pine Cove is also the place where I met my beautiful wife, Amanda, who continues to be a great joy in my life. After two years of employment at Pine Cove, God brought me to Sylvania where I have since served as the student minister. I began work on a Master's degree at Dallas Theological Seminary in January 2006, and have recently transferred to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where I continue to study!
