Chris, born on the 3rd of March in 1979, is the baby of three of children and was raised by three wonderful parents, Charmaine Caldwell and John & Kathy Gaston. Growing up all over the Southeast U.S., he completed school at Oak Hall High School in Gainesville, Florida. 

During the undergrad years, he was influenced by the educators at Louisiana Tech (Bite‘em Bulldogs) in Ruston, LA. After completing his physical education degree in the fall of 2004, he accepted a youth assistant position at Christ Community Church in Ruston, LA.

Moving from there he took an opportunity to lead worship for Jr. High, Sr. High, College students and Young Adults at First Baptist West Monroe in West Monroe, LA. In March of 2006 he joined the Sylvania ministry team as Worship Leader. His goal is to create an atmosphere and an opportunity for people to connect with God through song and glorify Him in their hearts.
